We had a great Q&A with poet, novelist, story writer and performer Sherman Alexie in the Carriage House last week. The wisdom conferred included but was not limited to: all writers should take drama and improv classes; all writers should learn to write in 140 character bursts, and all writers should be funny. Unless you’re not. In which case, sorry. (*Advice slightly abridged). We also spoke of sartorialism, sarcasm and sexiness. The last in relation to metaphor only.
It was a fun visit! Thanks for coming by, Mr. Alexie.
